Finding your place on the Riviera
Choosing an address on the French Riviera rarely starts with a simple list of homes. First comes the life you want to build: work, schools, travel, pace, year-round living or regular stays.

Start with daily use, not only the view
A sea-facing terrace can make an immediate impression. On its own, it says nothing about journey times, parking, summer activity, nearby shops or access to Monaco, Nice and the airport. These factors should be ranked before viewings begin.
Compare areas at different times
The same neighbourhood can feel different on a weekday morning, at the end of the day and in high summer. When timing allows, test the routes and observe the light at several hours. For a remote search, these checks can be documented before you travel.
Build a coherent shortlist
From Nice to the Monaco coast, Cap d’Antibes, Cannes and the countryside, each area offers a different way of living on the Riviera. A useful shortlist compares like with like and clearly explains the trade-offs between location, space, services and budget.
The right address is not always the most spectacular in a photograph. It is the one that still feels right when placed back into your real life.
